Todd Shepherd, MBA, CPA, CFP®

|
Todd serves as a Wealth Manager, working directly with clients
to develop and coordinate the financial, investment, tax &
estate aspects of their plan. Prior to joining Creative
Planning, Todd operated his own firm where he specialized in
providing financial planning and tax services. His philosophy
has always been to serve clients in a manner that he would want
to be served. Therefore, he joined Creative Planning to work
with clients using the holistic and comprehensive approach which
has made Creative Planning one of the fastest growing private
wealth management firms in the country.
In 2009, Todd was selected as one of Ingram’s “40 Under Forty”
honorees. The list recognizes the most accomplished business and
community leaders in the Kansas City region under 40 years of
age. In 2010, Todd was recognized in KC Business magazine as a
Five Star Wealth Manager.
Todd graduated from the University of Kansas in 1991 with a
major in Accounting. He earned a Masters of Business
Administration degree from Rockhurst University in 2001. Todd is
a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the states of Missouri
and Kansas and has also earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
designation.
Todd leads a team of over 50 volunteers at Church of the
Ascension to serve a monthly breakfast at Hope Faith Ministries
in Kansas City. Hope Faith Ministries is a non-denominational,
faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the poor and
homeless in Kansas City. Todd also serves on the Executive Board
of Directors for KC CAN, an organization of volunteers dedicated
to improving the quality of life of children in Kansas City.
Todd served on the board of directors of the Financial Planning
Association of Greater Kansas City.
Todd is married to Vicki and has three sons, Jake, Will and
Drew. |
